Man killed by hit-and-run driver in Stanton

STANTON — A 59-year-old male pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Thursday night, Oct. 19, according to authorities.
The incident was reported around 8:05 p.m. at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Katella Avenue, said Orange County Sheriff’s Department Lt. John Roche.
The name of the victim, who is from Stanton, was not released pending notification of his family.
