Man hits tree after losing control of bicycle, suffers severe head trauma

LAGUNA NIGUEL  A man in his 60’s was hospitalized with severe head trauma after riding his bicycle into a tree.
The incident was reported to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department at 6:50 a.m. Sunday, July 16, by a female relative of the man who was riding with him.
The two were riding north on Alicia Parkway just across from Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park when they went into a slight turn and the man lost control of his bike, hitting the curb, said Lt. Steve Gil.
