Man hit, killed by car while crossing street in Stanton

STANTON — A man was killed by a car Tuesday night, Sept. 19, while crossing a street in Stanton, authorities said.
The incident was reported around 7:20 p.m. near the intersection of Katella and Dale avenues, said Orange County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Matthew Stiverson.
The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he died. His name was not released.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with deputies, Stiverson said. The incident was under
