Man convicted in OC robbery spree sentenced to 5 years in prison

A Los Angeles man pleaded guilty Wednesday, Nov. 13, and was immediately sentenced to five years in prison for a spree of robberies at gas stations and fast food restaurants throughout Orange County.
Emanuel Demar Banks, 39, pleaded guilty to seven counts of second-degree robbery and a count of criminal threats, all felonies, along with seven misdemeanor counts of brandishing a replica gun.
