Man, 27, dies after being struck while walking on freeway on-ramp in Norwalk

NORWALK – A 27-year-old man died from injuries suffered when he was struck by a vehicle while he was walking on a freeway on-ramp in Norwalk, authorities said Saturday.
California Highway Patrol officers responded about 8 p.m. Friday to the Norwalk Boulevard on-ramp to the southbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway and located the victim about 800 feet south of Norwalk Boulevard, according to CHP Officer B. Whittenberg.
