Man, 21, shot in Stanton

A 21-year-old man shot in Stanton late Saturday is expected to survive his injuries, authorities said on Sunday Nov. 12.
The man was shot at about 11:35 p.m. Saturday in the 8500 block of Cerritos Avenue, said Orange County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Nate Wilson.
The reason for the shooting remains unclear, and the assailant is at large, Wilson said.
No other details were immediately available.
