Los Alamitos cancels racing on Thursday

Los Alamitos vice president Jack Liebau’s worst fears came true Saturday when the Orange County race track was forced to cancel Thursday’s card because of a lack of entries.
What was supposed to be a 12-day Summer Thoroughbred Festival had already been cut to 10 days weeks earlier, and Thursday’s cancellation makes it a nine-day meet.
