Looking for a parking spot? Laguna Beach is about to launch an app to help
LAGUNA BEACH — With more than 6.5 million visitors annually, city officials hope a new smartphone parking application will reduce congestion, make parking easier and provide information on visitor and parking habits.
On Tuesday, April 2, the Laguna Beach City Council voted 4-0 (with Councilwoman Toni Iseman absent) to spend $1.67 million over five years on a parking app that will give users a real-time overview of parking availability citywide. Users also will be able to pay parking meters
