Long Beach State, UC Irvine women extend Big West title chase

The Long Beach State and UC Irvine women’s basketball teams have been the class of the Big West Conference all season long, and their title chase will go down to the final day of the regular season.
Long Beach State extended its winning streak to 15 consecutive games with a 52-46 victory over host Cal State Bakersfield on Thursday night, while UCI earned a 56-45 Senior Night win against UC Riverside at the Bren Events Center.
Both teams will go into their regular-season finales on Saturday
