Long Beach State baseball uses five-run fourth inning to beat slumping UCLA
LOS ANGELES — Long Beach State’s five-run lead entering the ninth inning was suddenly on shaky ground.
After keeping No. 11 UCLA scoreless for eight innings, the Bruins woke up in the bottom of the ninth. They scratched an unearned run across the board then had the bases loaded with no outs.
Dylan Spacke wasn’t rattled.
