Lifeguards top 3,600 rescues from big waves, rip currents over Labor Day weekend

Orange County lifeguards were kept busy over the Labor Day weekend, rescuing more than 3,600 people from big surf and rip currents that caused unsafe conditions along beaches.
There were no reports of fatalities at any Orange County beaches.
