The Korean War armistice stopped that terrible war on July 27, 1953. This year is the 64th anniversary of a war too often referred to as the “Forgotten War.” For three long, destructive years that war was fought in rugged mountainous terrain, under miserably hot and often frigid weather conditions against a committed enemy.
