Re: “Lawmakers move to include more young people in voting” [News, April 17]: I believe we need to seriously consider legislation to raise the voting age, not lower it. With the recent post-election melt-downs, mainly by college-age people, we have seen strong evidence that the burden of participating in the electoral process may be too uncomfortable for them to handle.
