Letters: A streetcar named boondoggle

Re: “Streetcar not good use of federal funds” [Opinion, May 11]: The OCTA is tone deaf when it comes to the viability of the inflexible, 4.1-mile Santa Ana streetcar.
They press their agenda to get us out of our cars with the end result being to saddle taxpayers with debt. They can’t tell you why the bus transit ridership is down and operating in the red but want to overlap it with a streetcar. I will never vote for Measure M taxes again.
