LBSU men’s volleyball repeats as NCAA champion

LONG BEACH >> The only thing better than winning one national title is to do it again, this time at home in front of friends and family.
Long Beach State outlasted Hawaii in four intense and often spectacular sets Saturday night in the NCAA Men’s Volleyball finals, 23-25, 25-22, 25-22 and 25-23, to win the 2019 crown and become the first 49er team in any sport to win back-to-back championships.
