LAPD employee arrested in suspected DUI crash on 605 Freeway leaving 3 dead

A Los Angeles Police Department employee was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk and causing a three-car crash on the 605 Freeway Tuesday night, killing three people who were trapped in a burning car.
The suspect, Edgar Omar Verduzco, 26, of Santa Ana, suffered a broken nose. One of the drivers complained of pain, according to the statement from the California Highway Patrol.
