Lane switch marks progress on final phase of Avenida La Pata road work in south county

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — Changes are in store Wednesday, Nov. 8, for people who drive Avenida La Pata through a roadway construction zone between Stallion Ridge and Ortega Highway.
Orange County Public Works announced it is shifting La Pata’s northbound traffic lane onto a newly paved stretch of road between Stallion Ridge and Gateway Place.
La Pata’s two southbound lanes then will shift slightly in order to allow construction crews to continue working in the center median.
