Landry throws no-hitter in Cypress’ win over Pacifica

CYPRESS >> The kid they call “The Crane” was whooping it up Friday.
Cypress junior left-hander Josh Landry pitched a no-hitter in the Centurions’ 13-0 win over Pacifica in an Empire League game at Cypress High.
He walked Pacifica’s first batter in the first inning. He then retired the next 21 batters in a row.
Landry finished with five strikeouts and one walk as he improved his record to 5-1. His first no-hitter at any level of baseball trimmed his ERA to 1.09.
