Lakers’ Anthony Davis will miss start against Dallas Mavericks

A hard fall in Tuesday’s game against the Knicks will keep Anthony Davis sidelined for at least one of the Laker’s back-to-back games.
The team announced Friday afternoon that Davis (bruised backside) will miss the Lakers’ tip-off in Dallas at American Airlines Center. It will be just the third game Davis, who leads the Lakers in points (27.1 ppg), rebounds (9.4 rpg) and blocks (2.6 bpg) will miss — the Lakers are 1-1 without him.
