Lake Forest exploring its options for animal control services

Lake Forest is going to push for more local oversight of OC Animal Care, but also ask Irvine and Mission Viejo to look into what it would cost for the city to partner with one of them on animal control services.
Lake Forest is one of 14 cities that contract with the county agency for animal control services, such as picking up and sheltering lost animals and licensing.
