Lake Forest-based club team wins at Junior Olympics

The Foothill Ranch-based A4 Volleyball Club’s 15-1 girls team turned in a dominating performance in winning the American Division at the USA Volleyball Junior National Championships, June 25-July 4, at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minnesota.
The club, nicknamed “Purple”, won 10 of its 11 matches and 21 of 23 sets in capturing the club’s first-ever national title in its three-year existence.
