Laguna Woods actors stir up mystery, magic, old-fashioned fun

On a recent cool, autumn-like day, a monster was spotted in the Village.
But don’t be alarmed: The creature wasn’t scaring anyone — at least not yet. He was taking part in a dress rehearsal Saturday, Oct. 24, for the Village Theatre Guild’s production of “The Johnny Carson Show 2020 Edition,” a series of skits, songs, comedy, magic and a tribute to Veterans Day.
