Laguna Niguel rings in the holidays with marching bands and hometown heroes

LAGUNA NIGUEL — About 10,000 spectators were expected to line Crown Valley Parkway on Saturday, Dec. 8, for the annual Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade, now in its 19th year. The event featured nearly 100 entries including equestrian units, local dignitaries, marching bands, youth groups, classic auto clubs and, of course, Santa himself, waving to the crowd from atop his North Pole float.
