Laguna community group wants voters to have a say in large-scale developments
Plans to develop large-scale and, in some cases, block-long projects in Laguna Beach have prompted a community group to push for voters to have a say about major commercial developments.
On Friday, March 6, Laguna Residents First presented a “letter of intent” to City Hall for a ballot initiative that could result in local voters having oversight over whether large commercial developments go forward.
