LAFC comes up empty at home in showdown with Sporting KC
The Los Angeles Football Club dropped three points in front of their supporters for the first time falling 2-0 to Sporting Kansas City at Banc of California Stadium.
An important contest between two squads with identical records in the MLS Western Conference, Sporting KC (11-6-6, 39 points) proved to be the superior team as LAFC (10-7-6, 36 points) fielded a lineup its supporters were unaccustomed to watching.
