La Palma City Council selects Gerard Goedhart as 2018 mayor

The City Council this week selected Gerard Goedhart as mayor for 2018, and Marshall Goodman as mayor pro tem. Each December, the council reorganizes itself, selecting a mayor and mayor pro tem from within its ranks to lead the city during the next year.
