LA-based MedMen lists on Canadian Securities Exchange with $1.6 billion valuation
MedMen, a Los Angeles-based marijuana company that caters to both recreational users and others with medical needs, is now listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
The company turned to Canada because marijuana use is legal there. The U.S., by contrast, still maintains a federal prohibition against cannabis.
