Kings will try to get offense going against Carolina

Defensively, the Kings are playing better of late. Over the past four games they have given up 10 goals (2.50 average) and their their goals-against-average is down to 3.15, which is still rather high for a team that prides itself on stinginess.
But the Kings continue to have difficulty scoring. They scored just five goals on their just-concluded three-game road trip that included a 2-1 overtime victory at Vancouver, a 3-2 loss at Edmonton and a 4-1 defeat at Calgary on Friday night.
