Kings insist doubt has not entered the picture

EL SEGUNDO – Upon entering the Kings’ locker room following their 2-1 loss at Anaheim on Friday, it was easy to see how dispirited the players were. If their heads were hanging any lower, they would have been on the ground.
It was the sixth consecutive loss for the Kings, whose season has turned somewhat messy. They’ve gone from best in the Western Conference in December to just out of a playoff spot at the moment.
Defenseman Alec Martinez is in his ninth season with the Kings.
