NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Kings were not going to squander a third-period lead this time.
Darcy Kuemper made 16 saves for his first shutout of the season (32nd of his career), helping the Kings beat the Nashville Predators, 3-0, on Monday night.
Adrian Kempe had a goal and an assist and Anze Kopitar and Kevin Fiala also scored for the Kings, who had failed to protect a two-goal lead in the third period of a shootout loss to Chicago on Saturday at Crypto.com
