Kings add former NHL player Dave Lowry to John Stevens’ coaching staff
New Kings coach John Stevens began assembling his staff Tuesday, hiring former NHL player Dave Lowry to be an assistant. Lowry joins goaltending coach Bill Ranford, a holdover from the previous regime. Another assistant coach will hired at a later date, the Kings said.
Lowry, 52, spent the past five seasons coaching the Victoria (British Columbia) Royals of the junior-level Western Hockey League, posting a winning record in each season. Lowry’s overall record with Victoria was 209-124-27.
