Luckily, his defensive backs gave him five big gifts.
Thanks to the entire defense coming up with seven turnovers, including five interceptions, Katella defeated Segerstrom 22-17 in the CIF-SS Division 10 playoffs on Friday night at Segerstrom.
The victory advances Katella (11-1) to the semifinals on Friday, Nov.
