Kaiser and 84,000 workers forge four-year labor agreement

After months of failed negotiations, Kaiser Permanente and more than 84,000 employees in California and the nation have forged a new four-year labor agreement.
In an announcement Friday, Nov. 1, Kaiser said the collective bargaining agreement with the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions will run through Sept. 30, 2023. It includes annual pay increases and maintains employee health and retirement benefits while also creating a program to reduce the national shortage of healthcare workers.
