John Stevens says Kings were ready at Edmonton

LOS ANGELES – When the Kings entered their game Saturday at Edmonton, they had gotten five of a possible six points in the first three games of their trip against playoff-contending teams. Another point or two against an Oilers team not going to the postseason would have been huge, but the Kings failed by losing 3-2 in regulation.
Afterward, defenseman Jake Muzzin said he thought the team perhaps was not as “emotionally” ready as it should have been.
