Jimenez finally gets his LA Marathon victory

Rafael Botello Jimenez found him in an all too familiar place in the final stages of the 35th Los Angeles Marathon Sunday morning.
The wheelchair division was coming down to a two-man race between Jose Argeenes Jimenez Hernandez of Costa Rica and Spain’s Jimenez, a three-time runner up in Los Angeles.
But instead of dueling downtown the final stretch of the race, Jimenez and Hernandez exchanged congratulatory fist bumps along Ocean Avenue, reaching a deal to finish together.
