Jalen Ramsey and Cam Akers might make the Rams’ “draft” better than it looks

Cameron Akers did not play for the same Florida State as Jalen Ramsey.
Ramsey was the effervescent defensive back who helped FSU win the 2013 BCS Championship, then returned to the Rose Bowl to play in the first College Football Playoff semifinal. His quarterback was Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston. His blockers blocked and his tackles tackled.
Akers thought he was signing with that Florida State. It disappeared. Significantly, Akers did not. He stayed for three years, two fulltime coaches
