Issa’s bigoted tactics pander to the worst elements of the right

Former congressman Darrell Issa really wants to get back to Washington, running for the House seat recently vacated by disgraced Rep. Duncan Hunter rather than in the House district he left not long ago.
But to do it, he’s resorting to the shameful tactic of attacking a fellow Republican for being gay.
The ad, against fellow Republican Carl DeMaio, centers on illegal immigration and who loves President Trump most. But several images called attention to DeMaio’s sexuality, flashing ne
