Irvine hosts the Pacific Symphony

The Pacific Symphony got out for some fresh air by playing a concert Sunday in Irvine’s Mike Ward Community Park.
Each summer the symphony plays a couple of community concerts; on Saturday it was in Mission Viejo.
The concerts are free and include opportunities to meet their musicians and their instruments. Music Director Carl St. Clair also teaches children how to conduct an orchestra and then invites them to help him during the concert.
