Irvine High pitcher Alex Suarez back on the mound after brain surgery

Irvine junior Alex Suarez feared he might not be able to play baseball again after finding out he had been diagnosed with a brain tumor in January, requiring surgery.
“I was shocked,” said Suarez, a member of the Irvine varsity team. “My first question was ‘will I be able to play baseball again? How long will it be until I can come back and play’?”
