IOC votes to lift ban on Russian athletes

PYEONGCHANG, South Korea—The International Olympic Committee voted to lift sanctions on Russia, should there be no more positive drug test results for Russian athletes at the Winter Olympics.
The IOC, responding to push back from Olympic athletes, decided against allowing Russian athletes to march under their country’s flag at Sunday night’s closing ceremony, citing two positive drug tests by Russians at the Games.
