Industry seeking court order to force solar developer given $20 million to turn over documents
A company developing a massive solar farm on behalf of the City of Industry ignored a legislative subpoena requiring it to turn over proof that contracted work was performed, according to city officials.
City Council members argue they need the documents sought by the subpoena to verify how the public’s money has been spent. On Thursday, Assistant City Attorney Bianca Sparks said her office will seek a court order to force the developer, San Gabriel Valley Water and Power LLC, to comply.
