Q. Mr. Honk: Earlier this year someone asked about a fix-it ticket and the associated transaction fee. You gave an answer, but I do not remember your response. Several weeks ago I was stopped for excessive speed. However, the VERY kind officer issued a fix-it ticket to remove my front window tint in lieu of a speeding ticket. I went online at the Department of Motor Vehicles website and could not find the amount of the fee. Please help.
