Huntington Beach restaurants evacuated after bomb threat

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department bomb squad was called to the California Pizza Kitchen and Islands restaurants at the Bella Terra center after a bomb threat Saturday evening, Huntington Beach police officials said.
The threat was reported at 6:17 p.m. and the restaurants in the 7800 block of Edinger Avenue voluntarily evacuated, said Huntington Beach Police Sgt. Jeff Goodspeed.
