Huntington Beach Pier, beach parking lots closed due to coronavirus concerns

The city of Huntington Beach announced the closure of beach amenities such as the pier and beachfront parking lots, as well as playground structures and sports fields throughout the city,  as a way to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The sand and ocean, however, remain open at this time.
