How USC freshman DL Drake Jackson has made a quick transition to college game

LOS ANGELES — Drake Jackson came off the line hard, but didn’t get an equal response from the offensive lineman in front of him, who gave Jackson a soft block before letting him go.
Jackson, just four months removed from high school, could have gotten overeager at the chance for a sack. But the defensive lineman read the play, and held back, anticipating a quick pass. Sure enough, the quarterback looked Jackson’s way and tried to complete the throw.
Jackson reached up and made
