How these friends climbed a ladder that led to Long Beach’s first cidery

Years ago, next door neighbors Stefano Enjem and Joe Farrier would share a few ciders after work at their homes in Long Beach.
As their love for the drink grew, they decided to start home brewing. Then came a ladder across a shared fence in their Belmont Heights neighborhood so they could hop over any time and reach each other right away as they came up with new creations to try.
And now this love of the classic drink made from fermented apple juice has blossomed into Ficklewood Ciderworks, Long
