LOS ANGELES — A heat wave is about to wash over Southern California, generating triple-digit highs in LA County beginning Saturday, while Orange County communities will remain in the 90s.
The hottest location in LA County over the weekend will be the Antelope Valley, with extended triple-digit heat from 100 to 107 degrees, according to a National Weather Service statement. Saturday and Sunday will be the heat wave’s hottest days.
