Horse racing: Looking back on some things to be thankful for

There are many things I’m thankful for this week, not the least of which is the opportunity to write about a sport I love so dearly.
There’s something about the first Saturday of May and the Kentucky Derby and the two days of the Breeders’ Cup that get my pulse racing.
Now if we can just convince all the different factions of the industry to come together and pull on the same end of the rope, we’d really have something. Of course, world peace and hitting the Pick Six with
