‘Hitman’s Bodyguard,’ ‘Valerian’ don’t deliver much in a weak week for DVDs

Fun idea, but the problem with “The Hitman’s Bodyguard” is the execution.
We have Samuel L. Jackson as the titular hitman and Ryan Reynolds as the guy assigned to protect him in this film from Patrick Hughes (“The Expendables 3”). They don’t like each other much, but both have baggage and they commiserate over problems with the women in their lives. Then there’s shooting and explosions. The film aims pretty low and hits there.
