Hikers found in Joshua Tree: Man shot woman before killing himself, sheriff says

Officials now believe that one of the missing hikers found dead in Joshua Tree National Park may have shot and killed his girlfriend before turning the gun on himself, according to a San Bernardino County sheriff’s news release.
Authorities on Tuesday identified the two hikers whose bodies were found Sunday afternoon as Joseph Orbeso and Rachel Nguyen who went missing in late July.
